Nestled deep in the towering California Redwoods along the North Coast, the Ramblin' Redwoods Campground & RV Park is the perfect place to discover the incredible majesty of the forest. The park includes full hookup RV sites, luxury cabins & tent sites. Each site is private, quiet and can accomodate at least five guests and includes a private campfire ring and parking for two vehicles. The park-like grounds are filled with welcoming amenities, including free wifi, a playground, a pet-friendly park and covered dog washing area, and even a walking trail through the redwoods. In the area surrounding Ramblin' Redwoods, you'll also find activities from forest to ocean! Crescent City, CA and Brookings, OR are about 20 minutes in either direction and are the perfect coastal town destinations to explore. In addition to the magnificent beaches and the harbor filled with sea lions, you can enjoy the waters of the scenic Smith River. The popular Trees of Mystery , Battery Point Lighthouse, and the Sky Trail are all an easy day trip from the park, and sure to be fun for the whole family. Closer to the park, you'll also find countless day hikes near Jedadiah Smith Redwood State Park. Less than a 15 minute drive away, you can try your luck at Elk Valley Casino, or the Lucky 7 Casino. For the California RVer or camper who also likes to golf, Ramblin' Redwoods is within 30 minutes of three different golf courses, including the Del Norte Golf Course, Salmon Run Golf Course, and Kings Valley Golf Course.
